Alright so I need to build a lot of things. I have wood and tools but I don't have a surface.... So... Let's make some sawhorses. There's one leg of four or one of two. After seeing a lot of Japanese joinery videos I quickly came to the conclusion that this was nothing like the videos. Which is fine. If a join holds it works for me. But like I can't shave of little wafers of wood with my chisels. I have to use files, rasps and what not to sneak up on the right size for the joint. A tight join means no wiggle wiggle, or that it's rock solid.
So either I will just make one and use the van as the other leg or... yeah I should make another one. It takes me a while to get this dialed in and fit just right... like a few hours. Maybe I'll get better at it? I hope so.
